The field of real estate sales can be an exciting one – full of challenge and with no ceiling on income potential. Many of the highest paid people in the world are sales people, and the real estate industry offers unequalled opportunities for achieving success beyond your wildest dreams. Unfortunately the proportion of these successful agents is small – approximately 6% of sales people are currently making 90% of the sales. Many agents spend their days learning their skills on the job – the “trial and error” method, losing money as each day passes. They work hard, keep long hours, sacrifice family and personal time and become disillusioned and discouraged with their lack of consistent results. They keep trying until one day it all becomes too much and they say goodbye to their vision of financial security and wealth through a real estate career. Others may achieve good results for a while, but these may not be consistent. They hit the wall and experience a slump. Unless they are fortunate enough to belong to an office where they are mentored or coached, this time can be extremely stressful and frustrating.
